Returns and Refund Policy

This policy outlines the terms and conditions for returns and refunds for purchases made on our website 1shopstop. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. This policy is in accordance with UK law, including the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Your Right to Cancel

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods without giving any reason. This is often referred to as the "cooling-off period".

How to Cancel

To exercise your right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision by a clear statement indicating your intention to cancel. You can do this by:

To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired.

Effects of Cancellation

If you cancel your order, we will reimburse you all payments received from you, excluding the cost of delivery. We aim to process all refunds within 5-10 working days.

Deduction for Damaged or Used Goods

We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you. This means that you are liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods. For example, if you use the goods beyond what is necessary to inspect them (such as removing tags, using or assembling the product), we may reduce the amount of your refund to reflect this.

Return of Goods

You must send the goods back to us without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation of the order to us. The direct cost of returning the goods will be your responsibility. You are responsible for ensuring the goods are returned to us in a suitable condition. We recommend using a tracked or signed-for delivery service to ensure that the goods arrive safely.

Refund Timing

We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than:

  • 5-10 working days after the day we receive the goods back from you.

We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement. If you paid by a method that does not allow us to refund to the original payment method, we will contact you to arrange an alternative.

Faulty Goods

In addition to your right to cancel, if the goods you receive are faulty or not as described, you may have a right to a repair or replacement, or in some cases, a full or partial refund, under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

  • Repair or Replacement: If the goods are faulty, you can request that we repair or replace them. We must do this within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience to you.

  • Refund: You may also be entitled to a full or partial refund if the goods are faulty.

    • Full Refund: If the fault is discovered within 30 days of purchase, you are entitled to a full refund.

    • Partial Refund: If the fault is discovered after 30 days, you may be entitled to a partial refund. The amount of the refund will depend on the use you have had of the goods.

  • Not as Described: If the goods are not as described, you are also entitled to remedies under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Please contact us as soon as possible if you believe you have received faulty goods. To help us process your claim, please provide details of the fault, and where possible, photographs.

Exceptions

Please note that some goods are exempt from the right to cancel, including:

  • Perishable goods (e.g., food, flowers)

  • Custom-made or personalised items (e.g., a product made to your specific requirements)

  • Goods with a hygiene seal that is broken (e.g., cosmetics, underwear)
